Herfa began with a simple idea: that a gift should be a story told, unforgettable. A handmade ceramic piece, with an engraved message that lasts as long as the piece itself.
In our workshop, we patiently work on each piece, from shaping the clay to engraving, coloring, and firing, to deliver a truly unique item to you.
How do we make it?
From Clay to Word
We begin by hand-shaping the clay, then engrave the phrase letter by letter before the piece dries. We then give it its color and fire it in the kiln to acquire its hardness and luster.
This is why each piece differs slightly from the others in color and texture, and this difference is the signature of the hand that made it.
